Movies We've Seen
Dog Day Afternoon: Pretty Good. Pacino is great, the movie probably would have been more enjoyable had it been seen when it came out in the 1970s. Sindey Lumet (apparently one is supposed to pronoune the "t") was the director. No complains there.
Far From Heaven: Didn't really like it. Julianne Moore was fine and Dennis Haystert is awesome as always. Dennis Quaid? Well, some of us are actually fans but we just didn't think he was that memorable. He was in the shadows a lot.
Dawn of the Dead: Liked it. Go George Romero. We really didn't expect that much. Sure it is supposed to be a classic horror film but most horror films just arent' that great. But this movie is actually pretty damn good. It's interesting, it has some nice tension and semi-scary moments as well.
House of a 1,000 Corpses: go Rob Zombie. Wow. This is just a really odd movie. But is so suprising and shocking that we think it is worth a rental. But if you don't like scary movies, stay away, far away.
Underrated Movie of the Moment: Ed Wood, Starring Johnny Depp, Martin Landau. Directed by Tim Burton. Funny and sad as hell.
