Dr. Zhivago

Sure, we thought, Dr. Zhivago, probably a fairly boring and tedious period piece. Possibly a slightly enjoyable rumination on love.

But, there is something to this movie. We really thought it was great.
Omar Sharif delivers a fine performance and Julie Christie is just amazingly beautiful. The cinematography is amazing and the story of the Russian revolution is very captivating.

We're glad we saw it.
